Work has continued through June and into July. Construction has focused on the North Entryway and North Corridor connecting the Ag Building. The Student Entrance on the south side of the building is still open, as well as the hwy. 45 entrance.
Fourteen of the UGHS bathrooms have been demolished and are receiving a full "facelift". The large bathrooms between the two gymnasiums already have drywall being installed. When school begins in the Fall, these bathrooms will be ready for use!
A new ticket booth is being installed at the Southeast corner of the building with matching brick to the building. Thank you, Bower Design & Construction.
The 10,000 square foot new Science Wing has shoring being installed on the first floor to support the concrete slab on the metal deck. The last of the existing joists from the old roof are ready for removal above the FACE classroom. The steel framing has begun on the east side of the second-floor infill area.
The Tech Ed. Expansion has begun this week, with excavations and the concrete footings being poured.
