At the North Connector we completed the last of the wall pours. Waterproofing is ongoing and we will begin to backfill once complete, and the concrete has hit the specified strength.
In the bathrooms by the gym tile is proceeding. You can see the first of the red accent walls has been installed in the pictures. We drywalled and began to mud the remainder of the first-floor bathrooms and a few on the second floor. Painting is following close behind and we should have more tile work starting next week.
The 2nd floor science infill slab has been poured! This is a significant milestone which allows us to begin temporarily reconnecting the HVAC, patch ceilings, and reinstall lights on the 1st floor to be ready for the start of school.
The Tech Ed. addition foundation walls were completed this week. Exterior masonry started this week. The hydro scaffolds will support the install until the segment of wall is topped out. The hydros will be moved to the next section and so on until we have completed the box shape.
The concrete crew will be moving out for the most part this week making way for the steel crew to move in with the anticipated arrival of the Tech Ed. steel in the next couple weeks.
