Weekly Construction Progress Report
Old Autos / New Building & Home Maintenance
Structural Steel: Vertical progress continues as structural steel framing is being installed in the New Building & Home Maintenance classroom.
Mezzanine Extension: Metal decking for the mezzanine extension has been successfully set and secured. Crews are currently performing final reinforcement checks and perimeter forming in preparation for the upcoming concrete deck pour.
North Connector
Interior Finishes: Aesthetic transitions are taking shape with ongoing painting throughout the corridor.
Ceiling & Lighting: The ceiling grid is fully leveled and secure, with light fixture installation currently underway. The area is staged and ready for final ceiling tile drop-in once dust producing work concludes.
Access: New permanent doors have been hung, officially closing in the connector and improving climate control for ongoing finish work.
Second Floor Science
Specialized Labs: The Engineering & Robotics labs have reached a major milestone with ceiling tiles now fully installed.
Wall Finishes: Drywall installation is nearing 100% completion across the entire wing. Transitioning into the Biology rooms, painters are currently applying prime and finish coats.
Systems Integration: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) trades are executing final trim-out and equipment connections. These systems are in the final stages of completion before pre-functional testing begins.
Student Entrance
AD Office: Rough-ins for the new Athletic Director’s office are progressing; the standard and overhead door openings have been "blocked in" to secure the building envelope until the final door units arrive later this summer.
Masonry Work: Significant progress is visible on the north wall.
Look Ahead: CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) block installation will remain a primary focus through next week as crews continue framing the structural walls for the new vestibule and administrative offices.
