Old Autos / New BHM
Floor saw-cutting operations have been successfully completed, allowing for excavation and installation of new structural elements. New concrete footings have been poured and inspected, followed by slab replacement and restoration. Masonry wall construction is now underway, with crews actively laying concrete masonry to establish the new building footprint. All underground plumbing installations have been completed, tested, and backfilled, positioning the area for continued vertical progress.
Performing Arts Bathrooms
Underground plumbing systems have been fully installed, including sanitary, vent, and water lines. Pressure testing and inspections have been completed. Masonry wall layouts have been marked and are now in place, providing clear guidance for upcoming wall construction and coordination with mechanical and electrical systems.
North Connector
Installation of exterior metal panel systems is ongoing, with crews making steady progress on building enclosure. Concurrently, MEP rough-in activities including ductwork, conduit, and piping are advancing within the connector space.
Second Floor Science
Following the removal of existing ductwork and other mechanical obstructions, concrete wall construction has progressed significantly and is now nearing full height (“topping out”). With these obstructions cleared, classroom layouts are now clearly defined, allowing for improved visualization of final room configurations and facilitating upcoming MEP and interior finish work.
Student Entrance
Heavy demolition activities are actively underway, including removal of major structural and architectural components. Selective demolition is also in progress to carefully separate areas that will remain from those slated for removal. This work is preparing the space for final demolition along the interface with the existing building, ensuring a clean transition for new construction to tie in.
