North Connector
Installation of the exterior windows in the North Connector has been completed. With the building now enclosed, interior work will continue to accelerate, including coordination of finishes and preparation for upcoming mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities. The completed window installation also improves weather protection and supports maintaining the construction schedule through the winter months.
Mezzanine
Installation of the mezzanine metal decking is complete. The project is now preparing for the concrete pour, which is scheduled for January 15. Final inspections, formwork checks, and reinforcement placement will occur in advance of the pour to ensure structural integrity and readiness. Once the concrete has cured, work will transition to framing and follow-on trades.
Third Floor Bathrooms
Taping and finishing of drywall in the third floor bathrooms is complete. Beginning January 12, crews will start tile installation and painting, marking a significant step toward completion of these spaces. Following finishes, installation of fixtures and final mechanical and electrical connections will be scheduled.
Tech Ed Addition
Electrical crews are actively pulling wiring throughout the Tech Ed addition. This work supports upcoming installations of lighting, equipment connections, and control systems. Electrical rough-in activities are being closely coordinated with other trades to maintain efficiency and avoid conflicts as the space progresses toward completion.
Science Rooms
Installation of HVAC systems and water lines is underway in the science rooms. This work includes routing ductwork, piping, and connections necessary to support specialized classroom environments. These systems are critical to ensuring proper ventilation, temperature control, and functionality for future lab use.
